Insitu awarded $43.7 million military contract

Insitu, a wholly owned independent subsidiary of Boeing, announced that it has been awarded a $43.7 million contract to supply up to 56 of its Integrator unmanned aircraft systems to the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps. The aircraft, which provide real-time intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities, will be produced at Insitu’s facility in Stevenson, Washington. Bingen-based Insitu employs about 800 workers mainly in the Columbia River Gorge area.
